Grace and the others came
to our guest house and brought us food for breakfast. They cooked it by
themselves. We tried to taste it. It was delicious. There were tofu, toge,
carrot, etc.
We went to Paitan at 9 oclock. Mr. Paduga accompanied us to go there by jeepney. It was the first time for me using jeepney. If you wanted to stop the jeepney, you said para. We paid 5 peso for each person. We arrived in Paitan. Paitan was looked like a garden which full of baby flower. There were so many flowers such as sun flower. We talked each other with the owner of the garden. Her name was Jocelyn Alarcio and her husband. Actually her husband the owner of the garden and she just knew the little about it because her job was teacher. She taught us how to mix decarbonized rice and soil. The rate was 1 sack soil : 2 sacks decarbonized soil for transplanting baby flower to the bag. For seedling we have to put decarbonized mix compos in the below of the tray and compost in top side. But if you wanted to plant the seed directly in the bag, the composition were soil, compost and decarbonized rice. It was the trick and tecnique for them.

After that we went home to
have lunch. And we came back to Paitan to continue our internship. She taught
us how to plant seed in the tray. After that she taught us how to transplanting
baby flower to the bag. Jossy one of the employee so fast doing that. We was so
amazed. We toke a rest and they brought us pizza. They were so friendly. After
that we went to their field. They had the large field there. There were
eggplants, pepayas, peppers, sweet potatoes, etc. They taught us how to make
carbonized rice manually. If you want to make it, you have to have tool to burn
it. Actually now there are the mechine to burn rice silk. You have to pour
gosaline of rice silk after that you put the tools and you burn. And then, you
put tice silk around the tools and make them like a mountain. Wait for 12
hours. The carbonized rice already to use.
We went home at 7 oclock by their car look like a small jeepney. One hour
later, our friend came. They brought us some snack like sogo and jelly candy.
They said to me why i looked like quite and see nothing. I was thinking. I was
confused, if our programme finish, i dont know how to communicate with them,
how to meet them again. Because they are so friendly. I hope that we can meet
them again.
